Carols and Crumpets

Experience the sights, smells, and sounds of the upcoming holiday season at Carols and Crumpets, the annual herbal craft fair, hosted by The Tulsa Herb Society. It will be held Saturday, December 5th from 8.a.m. to 3 p.m. at the Tulsa Garden Center.

Tulsa Herb Society members spend the year crafting unique items, jarring delicious jams, infusing vinegars and hand-sewing a gingerbread themed Christmas tree to be raffled. Other vendors will offer live wreaths, mosaic garden items, original art and cards, fused glass vases, stoneware dishes, native crafts, garden sculpture, handmade clothing and jewelry and vintage merchandise.

It’s an afternoon of museum fun for the whole family on December 20th from noon to 4 p.m. Visitors can enjoy various art-making stations, each offering different materials and themes as well as teaching artists to help guide and inspire. An art hunt is available to explore in the galleries, with a prize at the end. Families also can enjoy our interactive space, Kravis Discovery Center, and explore the extensive gardens and special featured activities. For families with children ages 3 – 15; children must be accompanied by an adult. Admission is free and no reservations are required.

Toyland Ball

Toyland Ball will be held at Cox Business Center on January 23, 2016. Toyland Ball is The Parent Child Center of Tulsa’s annual signature fundraising event. “Le Ballon Rouge” is our theme for the black tie gala that will include an elegant evening of dinner and dancing to the band Drive and a fabulous live auction.

A highlight of the evening is the presentation of the Guardian Angel Award. This year we are honoring Jennifer Legler, for the past seven years she has made significant contributions of time, talent and resources to further The Parent Child Center’s mission of protecting and nurturing children at risk for abuse and neglect.

The Inaugural G Fest

The inaugural G Fest will feature an all-star line-up, including some of the biggest names in Country, Rock and Americana, along with the best up-and-coming and local talent, and all the charm of a county fair at Hatbox Field in Muskogee, June 16-18, 2016.

The first annual outdoor extravaganza is poised to become THE premier eclectic music event of the year, with performances by the Okie from Muskogee himself, Merle Haggard, Americana favorites The Avett Brothers, acclaimed Oklahoma band Turnpike Troubadours and Red Dirt outlaws Jason Boland & The Stragglers, with many more artist announcements planned for the coming months.

General Admission tickets are available for $79, and VIP Reserved Seating and VIP Party Pit tickets for $279 for a limited time.
