Capital One Associates Help the Tulsa Dream Center Spread Holiday Cheer

Just in time for the holiday season, Capital One associates in Tulsa banded together to collect 1,000 items of clothing, more than 100 canned goods and more than 820 pairs of shoes for families and individuals served by the Tulsa Dream Center (TDC).

The TDC is a non-profit organization providing medical and legal assistance, food, clothing, tutoring, GED classes and recreational activities for the underprivileged in north Tulsa.

“At Capital One, we are proud to support Tulsa Dream Center’s efforts to make this holiday season a truly special one for local families in need,” said Capital One Tulsa Market President John Cook. “As part of an approach we at Capital One call ‘Investing for Good,” our Capital One Auto Finance associates across the region are pleased to build on their tradition of participating in the center’s year-round programs to help people in North Tulsa achieve the dream of a better future.”

Capital One associates gathered the various items, loaded them into a large truck and spent a recent day delivering the items and spreading holiday cheer. TDC and Capital One have been partners for the past four years and have worked together in various ways to support the Tulsa community.
