Custom Baskets from Rocky Mountain Chocolate Company and Tulsa Toy Depot
When you walk through the doors of Tulsa Toy Depot and Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in Tulsa, you are immediately transported to a world of wonder and learning. Everywhere you look there are happy children eager to open books, marvel at the collectibles and make wish lists for the toys. And, that’s just on one side of store. Follow the heavenly scent of chocolate and you’ll find yourself in front of a beautiful array of treats from locally made truffles and chocolate covered strawberries to the largest chocolate Easter Bunny in Oklahoma!
The stores are owned and operated by Ryan McAdams. Ryan and his father, Dan, opened Rocky Mountain Chocolate Factory in December of 2010 and Ryan opened the Tulsa Toy Depot in 2015. “This is a dream business that my father and I built,” says Ryan. “The direction I’ve taken with the business is reflective of things I’ve seen my father do in the past whether it was when I was 17 or 30 years of age.”
A visit to Rocky Mountain Chocolate for Easter will take you back to time when you marveled at Easter egg hunts hungrily searching for beautifully-colored foil eggs, chocolate bunnies and flower-decorated treats. There are more than 300 different chocolate items to choose from at Rocky Mountain Chocolate. And, only a few steps away is Tulsa Toy Depot where you will find more than 5,000 carefully selected items for children including Tegu Blocks, Little Golden and Usborne Books, and Plan Toys. There are even fabric covered children’s archery sets called, “Two Bros Bows.” And, don’t worry moms, the foam-filled rounded tip of the arrow is gentle for little archers so they can poke themselves or each other.
While the chocolate store is well-known and loved for the nut and chocolate drizzle caramel apples, this time of year it is the custom Easter baskets creating the buzz. “We love to put together large Easter baskets with your child’s favorite chocolate treats and add fun, educational toys from the Toy Depot that match your child’s interests. That’s where we excel,” said McAdams. Custom baskets can be made for girls or boy and includes a free basket, wrapping and bow.
