About the Author: Dr. John Owens is a chiropractor with degrees in biomechanics, anatomy & physiology and health & wellness. He has been a certified personal trainer for more than 10 years and spent two years in California working with professional and Olympic athletes. Working with elite performers and their families has allowed Dr. Owens to learn the most effective forms of treatment. He has brought his experience back home to Tulsa to implement this care in our community. Description: Fit for Life depicts a strategy to be ready for whatever life throws at you. Whether it is staying on the golf course, running a marathon or simply picking up your child/grandchild, this workout will ensure you are prepared. Workout: The exercises are meant to be performed consecutively in a circuit and may be repeated up to 5 times depending on your current fitness level. One time through may be enough if you are just getting started. Each exercise can be modified to change the level of difficulty. A simple search online will show you alternatives if necessary. You do not have to have a gym membership. Your bodyweight, some resistance bands and a single kettlebell are all you need.
