Hillcrest South First Responders Appreciation Lunch

On Thursday, Oct. 19, Hillcrest South hosted a tailgate themed luncheon to honor local first responders. This second annual event was a fun gathering to show appreciation for first responders, including members of local fire and police departments and ambulance services.

Giving Spirits was held October 27 for the 
Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma

Cain’s Ballroom was filled with Food Bank supporters who addressed the issue of hunger in our community. Honorary ambassadors were Mary and David Sherwood and Sid Smith. Patrons sampled over 80 whiskeys, attended seminars on whiskey making, enjoyed a whiskey inspired food menu prepared by Food Bank’s Executive Chef, Jeff Marlow, and desserts by Katy’s Pantry.
